Preparatory Meeting
for the establishment

We have held Preparatory Meeting for the Establishment of the Forum of Asian Graphic Arts Technology at Sunshine city of Ikebukuro in Tokyo from February 1st to 5th, 1996.

・CHINA / THE PRINTING TECHNOLOGY ASSOCIATION of CHINA
・KOREA / KOREA FEDERATION of PRINTING COOPERATIVES
・THAILAND / THAILAND ASSOCIATION FOR PRINTING TECHNOLOGY PROMOTION

All schedule of Meeting was carried out without any trouble.

◆1. Schedule of Preparatory Meeting

Feb.1, 1996(Thurs.)
・Four members from China and Thailand, five members from Korea (Representative Organizations)has been arrived in Tokyo.

◆2. Inform Exchange Meeting

We took up following subject for Presentation Outline of Printing Industry of Each Country for the first step of Inform Exchange Meeting.

    (1)Definition of printing industry
    (2)The outline of printing industry
    (3)Amount of shipment of printing and its market
    (4)Printing technology and machinary
    (5)Employment of printing industry and labor management
    (6)Tasks of printing industry
and so on.
Lectures was given from representative of each countries with questions and answers.

Questions for lecturer were such as about the Trend of Classification of Products, Characteristic of Markets, Trend of Paper Price, Trend of the point of Technology and so on.

◆3. Preparatory Meeting for the Establishment Preparatory Meeting was proceeded depend on Agenda as following.

  1. Election of Chairman
  2. Proposal for the Forum of Asian Graphic Arts Technology
  3. Resolution for the establishment of the Forum and Voting
  4. General Meeting for the establishment of the Forum and the first annual Forum
  5. Issuance of the first information report
  6. Soliciting participating Asian countries for the Forum of Asan Graphic Arts Technology.
