It is with great pride that the Philippines will play host to the 5th Forum of Asian Graphic Arts Technology.

For this year's forum, each member country will be presenting their position papers on timely and situational topics concerning the printing industry, both locally and globally.

As we face the challenge of the new Millennium, FAGAT's 5th Forum is hoped to provide opportunities for Asian countries to exchange ideas and information by fostering mutual cooperation for the betterment of the printing industry as a whole.

I earnestly look forward and I fervently welcome my colleagues to this fruitful endeavor.
