(1) Activities (Refer to the regulations for details)

a) Holding annual forum

- The forum is to be held once a year.
- Members wil host the forum (on rotating basis.)
- Those countries wanting to host the forum will be decided upon the host country through discussions.

b) Contents of annual forum

- Current status of printing industries in member countries.
- Current status of technology in printing industries in member countries.
- Operational conditions and problem areas of research and educational organizations
- Problem areas of prepress technology
- Problem areas of printing and conversion technology
- Others
c) Expenses for annual forums

- The expenses will be paid by participating organizations and individuals.

- Telecommunications will be utilized to provide the main means of exchanges in the future.

(2) Organizations

a) Representative organizations from Asian countries will constitute and operate the Forum.
b) The representative organization from a country would be research or educational organizations relating to printing technology and the association of the printing industry in the Asian countries.

a) Serve as a host organization for the "general meeting" and "annual Forum" (on a rotating basis) as representative of a participating country.
b) Issue information reports three times a year and distribute them directly among the participating countries.
c) Coordinate and make arrangements for technological inspection and survey activities when requested by representative organizations of other countries.
d) Make arrangements for personnel and work-related exchanges when requested by representative organizations of other countries.
e) Pay for expenses for the "general meeting", "annual forum", exchanges, report production and distribution, and the like.
