NSGMLS parses and validates the SGML document and prints on the file a simple text representation of its Element Structure Information Set.
NSGMLS has been developed by James Clark(http://www.jclark.com/).
NSGMLS for MacOS can run under MacOS ver.7.5.5 and later.
NSGMLS for MacOS was built by KISI on SP 1.3.3 source code, using Metrowerks CodeWarrior IDE ver.3.0.
The version number of the binary is 1.3.3 beta 3.
The application type of binary is 68K.
Please send me the bug report.
Place this program into the folder you prefer.
You may specify the following switches.
Contact `http://www.jclark.com/sp/'.
[ -BCdeglprsuv ] [ -alinktype ] [ -bbctf | -bencoding ] [ -ccatalog_file ] [ -Ddirectory ] [ -Emax_errors ] [ -ferror_file ] [ -iname ] [ -ooutput_option ] [ -trast_file ] [ -wwarning_type ] [ -Ooutput_file ] [ sysid... ]For example,
-fsample.err -Osample.esi sample.htm
-Ooutfile
Redirect stdout to outfile.
NSGMLS for MacOS uses SIOUX console for the command input and the stdio.
SIOUX's window can save up to 32K of the output.
Specify `-O' option if you expect that the output will be over 32K.
Notice:In the command dialog of SIOUX, two buttons to redirect stdin and stdout are ineffectual.
In NSGMLS for MacOS, environment variables are expressed by a text file that is named `%SP%'.
Place it in the same folder where NSGMLS exists.
%SP% can express multiple lines.
Each line expresses single assignment such as `variablename = value'.
When the initial character is `#' or the line is null, the line means nothing.
For example, for Japanese,
# for Shift-JIS Encoding SP_CHARSET_FIXED=YES SP_SYSTEM_CHARSET=JIS SP_ENCODING=sjis
The file type of the output is `BINA' although the content of output is text only.
Your editor may not open the result of NSGMLS.
You should choose either to change the file type by utility or to ready the null file where the file type is `TEXT'.
NSGMLS for MacOS is FREE.
