The 6th Forum of Asian Graphic Arts Technology


The 6th Forum of Asia Graphic Arts Technology was opened from November 19 to 21,2002 at Swissotel, the Stamford in Singapore.
Delegation of China, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Philippine, Malaysia and Japan met for the first time in two years since World Printer Congress in Beijing.
The 6th FAGAT carried out 67 representatives from out of country and 71 printers, other relative companies in Singapore. Two representatives from Australia joined by observer.

【Report from Board Meeting】

  1. Report and measure from Technical Committee by Mr. Fujio Saito, Chairman of Committee (JAGAT).
    JAGAT suggested breaking up of Technical committee in system. Five countries considered to discontinuation or adjournment of Technical Committee except Singapore and Thailand.
      Conclusion
    1. Discussed same theme is difficult for different situation of member's country
    2. It is a possibility of discuss two country for useful theme of both country
    3. It will be keeping and seeking a good way for continuation until next meeting of Malaysia 2003.
  2. New Member's country
    Australia became to attend for 2002 FAGAT. We will inform to possible country for new member, like Indonesia, India and other country.
  3. We discussed for new way of FAGAT meeting in carry on seminar, conference, Sponsor and renaming of FAGAT.
  4. We decided next host country by Malaysia
