    Print-Label Malaysia 2004 in Kuala Lumpur

    The 15th Malaysia International Printing & Labelling Exhibition (Print-Label Malaysia 2004) will be open from 8th to 11th July 2004 at Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre, The Mines, Kuala Lumpur by ES Event Management Sdn. Bhd.

    The 7h Forum of Asian Graphic Arts Technology ended

    The 7th Forum of Asian Graphic Arts Technology (FAGAT) has been held by Malaysia Printers Association dated 11-13 March 2004.
    Since started FAGAT from 1996, We had first experience to move meeting place from town to the suburbs. In 11 March, 7th FAGAT Annual Meeting for Committee Members held at PWTC, Kuala Lumpur and each country report was informed by each country's speaker in next day. In 13 March, we had country report and farewell party at Genting Highlands, Pahang Darul Makmur.
    Foreign Participants are 54, Committee Members of MPA are 26 and Malaysian local participants are 66. FAGAT ended to meet again at Sydney in Australia of next host country with joining observer's country, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.

    All in Print China 2003-China International Exhibition for All Printing Technology and Equipment- was held from October 29 to November 1 2003 in Shanghai.

    *More than 20 countries, such as Japan, Korea, South Africa, The Netherlands

    Information of 7th Forum of Asian Graphic Arts Technology(FAGAT)

    Once Malaysia Printers Association had decided to postpone the function of hosting the 7th FAGAT tentatively from August 2003 to the wide spread of the sickness of SARS, however had fixed 11-13 March 2004 as the period for hosting the 7th FAGAT in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
    Printing Industries Association of Australia will be attend on a proper member in Malaysia from observer of last attendance in Singapore.

    The PRINTSHOW Bucharest 2003

    The PRINTSHOW Bucharest 2003 -Printing Fair, which will take place between 23rd-27th of September. Being now at the 24th consecutive edition, the exhibition will take place in the Main Pavilion of Romexpo Exhibition Centre, placed in the heart of Bucharest, Romania.

    Statistics coming from the poligraphic domain show that in 1995 there were more than 300 printing houses only in Bucharest. In 2001 another statistic showed that more than 1200 printing houses were existing on the Romanian printing market.

    In January 2001 the situation of the poligraphic domain was the following: more than 2000 printing houses and lost more of additional services.

    International Conference WPP 2003 in Bratislava

    Department of Chemical Technology of Wood, Pulp and Paper in Slovak Republic will be held International Conference WPP 2003 at City Hotel Bratislava, September 17-19 2003.

    The conference will commemorate the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the Institute of Chemical Technology of Wood, the Department of the Chemical Technology of Wood, Cellulose and Paper(KDCP) and specialized education of chemical technology of wood, pulp and paper (WPP) at the STU Bratislava.

    Reshuffle of JAGAT Managing Director - Greeting from JAGAT Chairman

    We are pleased to announce that the 36th General Meeting of Japan Association of Graphic Arts Technology (JAGAT) on May 29,2003 decided on a new Managing Director.

    At it meeting, Mr. Fujio Saito took over the post, Managing Director instead of Mr. Yukio Iwano.
    Mr. Yukio Iwano had been engaged in management post for 16 years and he was involved in building this printing and related printing industry as a founding member.
    We wish to express to you our sincere thanks for patronage and support that you had rendered to Mr. Iwano.

    The new Managing Director, Mr. Fujio Saito will challenge of our future printing on his great career. Even now, he will keep in director of charge for FAGAT.
    Mr. Saito is wishing to see you in Malaysia FAGAT as possible as soon after the SARS settlement.

    Wishing you every success and prosperity in the future, we would appreciate it if you kindly provide to Mr. Saito with the same favor and assistance as you have given to Mr. Iwano in the past.

    Malaysia Printers Association (MPA) decided to postpone the 7th FAGAT from August until SARS situation is going out in many countries worldwide.

    All in Print China 2003 was postponed

    According to plan from May13-16, 2003 of All in Print 2003(SNIEC Shanghai, P.R.China) was postponed. Under the present conditions of SARS sickness, it will be opened from October 29 to November 1, 2003. This decision was announced in April 23 by Shanghai Municipality for cancel or postpone of nationwide event, meeting.

    China International Exhibition for All Printing Technology and Equipment take place at Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC), P. R. China from May 13-16, 2003.
