Committee of Malaysia Printers Association has informed March 11-13 2004 as the period for hosting the 7th FAGAT Kuala Lumpur.For more information
Committee is fully aware that FAGAT is a very important forum in printing industry among the Asian member countries. It provides linkages, facilitates the exchange of information, promotes greater cooperation and understanding among the member countries, and as such the support.

1.Holding annual forum (With each country serving as rotation host)

*The forum is to be held once a year
*Members will host the forum (on rotating basis)
*Those countries wanting to host the forum will be decided upon the host country through discussions
B. Contents of annual forum
*Current status of printing industries in member countries
*Current status of technology in printing industries in member countries
*Operational conditions and problem areas of research and educational organizations
*Problem areas of prepress technology
*Problem areas of printing and conversion technology
*Others
C. Expenses for annual forums
*The expenses will be paid by participating organizations and individuals
2. Organizations
1. Constituents of the Forum of Asian Graphic Arts Technology
a) Representative organizations from Asian countries will constitute and operate the Forum
b) The representative organization from a country would be research or educational organizations relating to printing technology and the association of the printing industry in the Asian counties.
2. Roles of representative organizations
a) Serve as a host organization for the 'general meeting' and 'annual Forum'(on a rotating basis) as representative of a participating country
b) Coordinate and make arrangements for technological inspection and survey activities when requested by representative organizations of other countries.
c) Make arrangements for personnel and work-related exchanges when requested by
representative organizations of other countries.
